Instead Of Using Toothpaste, She Uses Coconut Oil — It Has Amazing Results!

OCTOBER 26, 2015  —  By Joe Welkie

Having a healthy and beautiful smile is one of the most important things a person can have. It gives you a leg up on the competition in terms of getting dates, performing better on job interviews, and it's generally great when it comes to eating food (duh). But what if toothpaste isn't really cutting it for you?

There is a new form of brushing that may sound a bit...out of the ordinary, but it has been shown to work for numerous people! So instead of brushing with toothpaste, you should try this...

It's called oil pulling and it involves swishing oil around in your mouth for 20 minutes:

What you'll need:

  • A small jar
  • Baking soda
  • Coconut oil
  • Flavoring (optional)

Take the small jar and mix one part baking soda, one part coconut oil, and the flavors of your choosing. Mix them up, then allow your flavors to cool and set, and voila! You'll have a new way to clean your mouth.

Be sure not to swallow your new mixture for your healthy mouth because it will be full of germs that can be more harmful than you might realize. The coconut oil literally pulls the germs from your mouth and teeth, so you wouldn't want to be swallowing that stuff anyway.

If you want a vibrant and healthy smile, try this method of mouthwash. It's really important for the long-term health of your teeth and body, and aesthetically, it will get you a whiter smile than just about anything!
