Even If You Don't Have Needles, You Can Still Knit...How Did I Not Know This???

Jessica is a writer who lives in Queens, NY. She spends most of her time listening to One Direction, watching TV, and hanging out with her one-eyed cat, Rigby.

I remember when Julia Roberts talked about knitting on the set of her movies years ago and how suddenly everyone was picking up a pair of needles to join in the crafty craze. I was one of those bandwagon joiners, but sadly, my abilities didn't really match my attempt to mimic the starlet.

This technique, however, seems like something I can finally get behind. You don't even need needles, just your own two hands! Well, that and some yarn, of course. It's so simple and perfect for sharing craft time with your kids, too.

Weave two lines of yarn across each finger...

And then loop the bottom one over the top.

I'm glad I saw this in time to whip up some scarves for friends this Christmas. Before that, they were all getting one of those lame coupon books for "extra hugs" and "one free compliment."
