Cooking Spray, Some Beads, And A Bowl Yield This Awesome Homemade Delight

DECEMBER 10, 2015  —  By Joe Welkie

If you're looking for a fun project to do with your kids this holiday season, you're in luck! This totally customizable bowl is festive and uses materials you probably already own.

All you need is some cooking spray, beads, and a bowl to make your very own cute, homemade container:

First, gather everything: cooking spray, beads, and an oven-safe bowl. Spray the inside of the bowl with the cooking spray and load the beads in there.

Put a handful of beads in at a time. Push them down so you only have one layer -- they will naturally run up the edge of the bowl as you add.

Once you're satisfied with the bowl size, place it in the oven at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Pull it out and let it cool.

Finally, run some cold water over it in the sink and it should come out. Voilà! You have a beautifully festive bead bowl.

This is a fun thing to do with your kids and it'll definitely spruce up your house for the holidays. Which color beads will you use?
