Jessica is a writer who lives in Queens, NY. She spends most of her time listening to One Direction, watching TV, and hanging out with her one-eyed cat, Rigby.

Even if you aren't a super-experienced crafter, this simple project will be a piece of cake. Trust me, I can't get near intense projects for my own safety and that of those around me, but this is something I'm totally going to do. It only takes a few minutes to create these adorable bookends, and you can customize them to your own unique tastes!

All you need are a few planks of wood, hot glue, and paint. See? Easy peasy. Your books will soon be cozying up to their own cute decor.

Now you have no excuse for leaving your books unguarded. Go grab your favorite knickknacks and a glue gun and get started!
